Jim D’Andrea is an author of screenplays, novels, and short stories. His genres trend toward horror, supernatural, comedy and erotica. His premiere novel The Haunting of Ashley Hall School is slated to be released in the Fall of 2025 by way of Crystal Cove Press—a shingle of Crystal Lake Publishing that focuses on Young Adult horror stories.

Jim worked as a member of a film crew for several years garnering invaluable insight into the craft of storytelling at the highest level. He developed and wrote multiple screenplays—mostly comedy—under the mentorship of Hollywood producer Daniel M. Rosenberg. He earned representation from WME and Paradigm on separate projects.

He eventually chose to focus on writing prose, specifically in the genre of gothic horror.
